Located in Klagenfurt in southern Austria, we are providing true GPS-independent autonomy for standard drones. Our unprecedented drone navigation algorithm extends the work done for the Ingenuity Mars helicopter and is the result of year-long research at the ETH Zurich, the JPL at NASA and the University of Klagenfurt.
By applying such a novel approach, we are able to capture a new magnitude of real-world data through the deployment of fully autonomous drones in unknown, confined and changing environments. This approach expands the potential of commercially available and affordable drones without the necessity of additional specialized and expensive navigation sensors.

With the focus on tomato greenhouses, avemoy leverages this new potential to provide affordable BigData for SMEs.
Combining this new magnitude of acquired data with our strong expertise in the fields of AI and cloud environments enables us to effectively provide actionable information and customer-focused solutions ranging from business intelligence dashboards up to accurate digital twins of single plants and greenhouses.

We are very proud of our international team with experts in AI, navigation and mechatronics from all over the world. Only half a year after our incorporation, our avemoy family has grown to a size of 8 highly motivated members quickly driving our product and technology development. Our jointly developed avemoy strategy is guiding and supporting our team in its growth and scale-up challenge across the global tomato greenhouse market.
With such a strong base, we are looking forward to further expanding our avemoy family with experts of any gender and nationality to scale up our products and sales.

Through our strong partners and pilot customers in Austria and Germany, we are receiving significant support in the areas of market know-how, testing environment, insights into needs and pain points of the industry and up to reference cases for new customers.
With their resources and experience in horticulture as well as with start-ups, we drive avemoy’s set-up to enter the market. Apart from above support, the continuous close collaboration with the University of Klagenfurt is ensuring the constant exchange between industry and the latest cutting-edge technology.

Further significant support has been given by AWS, build! and FFG. With the FFG spin-off program, avemoy was incorporated. Following the incorporation, AWS Preseed provided not only further financial support but also consulting and sparring in terms of copyrights and structuring its further milestones. Finally, having made our first steps with build!’s help, its team has been a constant support in sparring, consulting and funding throughout the stages since 2022.
We are continuously looking for further partners in technology, horticulture and hardware in order to further drive digitization and innovation together.
